I have just purchased quickbooks 2008, and I need to watch the tutorial. when I click on the turtorial, it says that I need to download flashplayer. it downloads, but then it still will not allow me to watch the video. what do i do?

installed QB Pro 2008 yesterday, I encountered the same frustrating issue. After wasting many hours, it finally occurred to me to search the web, I found this response on QB's forum site:

uninstall all versions of Adobe Flash Player (you can get uninstall download from Adobe)
go to http:tinyurl.com/38lbb5
it will install AFP version 8

I'm not sure what subsequent negative issues will arise from not having AFP9 loaded ... but at least I'm finally able to view tutorials.
