Hello,

When I try to launch an htm or html link in the Flash Player Projector, nothing happens. I just get a blank screen. We are trying to view training content that was built with Flash so we can do a screen recording of the training while it is rebuilt.

Thank you!

Flash Player was retired on December 31, 2020.  On Jan 12, Flash Player stopped loading content by default.  You will need to configure it to load content from explicit locations moving forward.

The standalone player is not a web browser.  It plays individual Flash (SWF) files. It does not render HTML pages.

At this point, you have a couple options.  Either license a maintained copy of Flash Player from HARMAN, or use the Enterprise Enablement features (assuming your web browser still supports browser plug-ins -- Chrome and Safari have already dropped them entirely) to configure your computer to load the website hosting your training materials.

You can find more about those options in our Enterprise FAQ, here:

https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/enterprise-end-of-life.html

Details on the Enterprise Enablement features can be found here:
