I received an email from Adobe Systems on 5/14/17 announcing a new version of Flash Player was available for download. Is this legit or spam? Want to be sure before downloading. Thank you in advance for the support!

Hi,

Adobe doesn't send emails announcing a new version of Flash Player is available.  You can double-check to see if it's indeed from Adobe by viewing the email headers.  I'd like to review the email.  Please do the following:

  1. View the message headers (steps to do this depends on your email client).
  2. Take a screenshot of the message header information.
  3. Take a screenshot of the email contents itself, or print it to PDF
  4. Upload both files (from step 2 & 3) to cloud.acrobat.com/send (see How to share a document)
  5. Private message me the URL to the uploaded file
    • To send a private message click on my User Name link and the on the 'Message' button link.

Thank you.
