Shockwave not working on IE or Chrome. Can't watch videos and crashing websites frequently.

Shockwave not working - videos won't play on Internet Explorer or Chrome (on youtube, facebook, or embedded videos). Additionally, most websites crash on Chrome.

I have disabled ActiveX Filter, I've uninstalled Flash and Shockwave, but apparently Chrome AND Windows 10 have flash embedded in them, so I just don't know what's going on. I can't install because it will always tell me that Chrome or Windows already have Flash built-in.

Shockwave ≠ Flash

Download and run the Windows .msi, but be aware that Shockwave will not run in Chrome

Youtube / Facebook use Flash Player, not Shockwave Player.
