Let me get something like this straight, is flash going to shut down forever?

At the very end of 2020? How/why I’d like to know & care? B-O-O-H-O-O

Flash has reached its end of life. Browsers will no longer support it from the end if 2020.

It did have a good run. I am sad that Director and Shockwave came to an end. Nothing lasts forever.

This is NOT a late breaking development.  My browsers began blocking Flash 2-3 years ago for security reasons and I haven't looked back.  I don't need Flash Player and neither do the majority of Internet users.

Flash content developers had 3 years advanced notice that this was coming.  They had plenty of time to switch to other technologies.  If they haven't done it by now, there's nothing you can do.  Those sites will be unusable after Dec 31st.
