SWF browsing on Chrome is not working on my MacBook Air. I have absolutely no idea what to do at this point.

I *think* what you're saying is that you're attempting to drag a file ending in .swf into Chrome, and Chrome simply drops it into the downloads folder.

Chrome (and most of the other modern browsers) won't load a bare .swf file anymore.  You'll need to write a .html file with the necessary object/embed tags to load the SWF.
