I'm wondering if theres a version of the flash player stand alone version. I use it to play some games but some of them use the timeline to go to certain frames a lot. If there is no version with one, could adobe put it in before the EOL date?
Thanks.

Yes, the stand alone projector will also be end-of-lifed. All of Flash Player will be end-of-lifed.

Not sure what you mean. There's only one version of Flash Player. And it will go away after Dec 31st.

My favorite online games and apps switched from Flash to other technologies 2-3 years ago.

I think its like one of the debugging apps or something. Its named flashplayer_32_sa.exe and it plays the games in a projector screen.

It's over on this website listed as flash player projector

The suggestion has been that the projector is equally "time bombed" and will equally stop on the appointed day. I've not seen anything definite.

Is it still getting updates before the EOL date or is it already discontinued because its onw of the debugging apps?

Flash Player is still being updated. However, if you're using the content debugger it won't notify an update is available, and will need to update manually. Update notifications is for non-content debugger.

Adobe have not committed to giving updates in the weeks before EOL. They have not committed to NOT giving updates either. What they won't do is help ANYONE looking for loopholes.
