Trying to install Flash Player on Ubuntu

I am trying to download Adobe flash to my new hard drive. The OS is UBUNTU. the suggested app is APT for Debian/UBUNTU. When i hit download, it starts, but then an error message pops up - Unknown channel 'bionic partner'   The channel 'bionic partner' is not known.
