Tried to update my Flash Player on my iMac. When I got to step 3, instead of continuing to update, I got a a page about getting free service for stocks for 30 days. There is no instruction to turn it down and move on. Very frustrating.

If you got to step 3, then Flash Player is already installed. The step 3 page is a completion page with an optional offering.

It's very likely that in addition to installing Flash Player, you need to configure your browser to enable it.
