Will the support of Flash Player be extended into 2021 as a result of the coronavirus?

we are in the middle of a huge project to replace our current system that uses flash to one that doesn't. We just found out today that the vendor we are working with on the new system had their entire India team mandated to work at home which due to privacy issues we can't allow that. I'm fearful we will miss the yearend date and so will a lot of other people that use India resources.  Are there any talks on extending the date of support of flash and are those including Microsoft and Google so they continue to support in their browsers?

Thanks.

Consider it restated.  We announced the dates in 2017 alongside all of the major browser vendors.  Those timelines have not, and will not change.  Adobe will stop shipping Flash Player, and most major US browsers will remove support for browser plug-ins around the end of the year.  Details (and links to the individual browser roadmaps and timelines) can be found in the announcement that we posted three years ago:

It would be great indeed, developers and companies are fighting against very bad time for now.

I'm afraid it's a question to ask to browser developers also.

I'm sure there are thousands of customers/businesses that are impacted with their migration plans that have now been derailed by the crisis including us. It would be incredible to extend a few months into 2021 to give us all a chance to remediate having been impacted by things out of our control.

As of this time, there are no plans to extend Flash Player's end-of-life, which was announced in July 2017, almost 3 years ago.

Then Adobe should really re-state this as it have been going around that the EOF will be delayed because of covid (eg. Yesterday at a Learning Guild virtual event)

By the way, don't assume you have until the end of the year. Apple closed Flash Player down in a lot of Mac computers a week ago.

As far as I know the only version of Adobe Flash Player that will stay support is the Mainland Chinese version of Flash Player, but it's unlikely how many more years Adobe Flash in China will last after the other countries loses support. It's currently unconfirmed if the Mainland Chinese version of Flash Player is ending on the same day (December 31 2020)as Vanilla Flash Player. In addition, many Chinese internet services, companies, websites & gaming aren't willing to spend the time or resources necessary to migrate away from Adobe Flash to HTML5 as far as I know.

So there, the Vanilla Flash Player version (and not the Mainland Chinese version) will never be extended after 2020, and the status on the Mainland Chinese version of Flash Player being supported after 2020 is unknown for right now.

This is out of Adobe's hands, because the browser makers (who drove this in the first place) will shut down Flash support. In fact, Apple already did this: Mac users with up to date Safari browser lost Flash Player a couple of weeks ago. Apple described it as a new feature. Don't count on being able to use it up to the end of the year, we are on borrowed time.
