My daughter is trying to edit videos on youtuber when she tries to trim them it says we need the modern version of flash which we have downloaded and install but still have no luck getting it to work

you can create mov files with flash/animate but it is not a video editor.

if you're trying to edit mp4 files, premiere pro is the best option.
