How to install Flex plugin for Eclipse?

Guest

Hello All,

I am a new user of Flex.
I would like to install Flex Framework as part of Eclipse, but I have installation problems with it

I have downloaded and installed the plugin from here:
http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/search/index.cfm?term=Eclipse+plugin&loc= en_us&siteSection=products%3A...
But when I am trying to create a new Flex project, I don't see the possibilities that are shown in

are shown here (http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/videotraining.html) in the lecture "Using Flash Builder" of day one (minute 5:33).

File -> New -> Flex Project (I don't see the "Flex Project" name and other related options).

Your help will be more than appreciated,

Thanks in advance,
Felix.

I'm a long time Flex user and had trouble getting Flex 4 to run as the Eclipse plugin - always glitchy for some reason (and slow too).  Instead, I scrapped the plugin and just used the straight installation "Flash Builder" file.  It's still "Eclipse" but didn't give me any issues and seemed much faster.

Hope this helps and good luck!
