Accessibility: Tagging Generated Paragraph styles

Community Beginner ,

I am trying to generate accessible PDFs using FrameMaker 9.

In my book file's PDF setup, I can set the tagging order to include or don't include several paragraph styles. However, none of my generated paragraph styles are included in the tagging list. For example, 1H-HeadingTOC, IndexIX, etc. styles are unavailble and I cannot tag these paragraphs in my book output.

I've tried importing these styles into my book but this does not add them to the list.

How do I tag generated paragraphs in FrameMaker 9?

This means that the TOC and Index of my book is inaccessible. This is not mentioned in FrameMaker 9 VPATS.

Thanks!

Myles,

the PDF setup dialog you reach for a book seems to display only the paragraph styles present in the first file of the book. Could that be the source of your issue?

Looks like this works!

While it muddies up the paragraph/character catalogs in my first chapter, I can now see those styles in the Tagging section.

Thanks!
