Hey guys!

I am using Adobe Framemaker 2011 version. I need to access files that were created using the FM 2017 version. Can I save files as mif files and access those in 2011? if not, do you guys have any suggestions?

Thank you for your help! 🙂

Regards,

Nagraj

Hi Nagraj,

Which version do you use? There isn't a version 2011.

Generally you can save as MIF and open this MIF file with older FrameMaker versions.

Formatting which the older version does not know will be ignored.

Only version 7 can cause problems. This version does not know Unicode.

Best regards

You probably meant FM11, not FM2011 - the version labels changed on FM2015.
