Appendixes not numbering properly

New Here ,

I need some help with setting up numbering of multiple appendix files in one book. Three are three appendixes (A, B, C) which are not numbering properly. After I update the book, they all display Appendix A.
I have an AppendixTitle paragraph tag which has no numbering properties and an AppendixNumber tag which in the Paragraph Designer > Numbering (tab) uses this in the Autonumber Format field: C:<A+>\st
And in the Properties field, Numbering.

The appendixes are numbering OK in the TOC using the Numbering Properties > Chapter (tab) of the three Appendix files with
Chapter #: A and Format: Text;
Chapter #: B and Format: Text;
Chapter #: C and Format: Text.

On the Reference page the AppendixTitleTOC tag looks like this:
A <$paratext> <$chapnum>-<$pagenum>

I am using FM 7.2p158 on Windows XP SP2.

Thanks

Sounds familiar! or, I've been bugged by something like this several times.

Try taking a look at the numbering properties in the book window:
select the files that ought to show up as Appendix B and Appendix C, right-click and select Numbering from the context menu, then see whether the option "Continue Numbering From Previous File In Book" is selected.

Hope this helps.

And after you correct the properties in the book file, Save and Update.
