Automatically applied Master pages for TOCs, LOTs and LOF for generated Structured FrameMaker

I'm converting DITA XML bookmaps into Structured FrameMaker books. At this point it is easier for me to use the FrameMaker EDD and Paragraph Designer to produce the desired format in PDF and not use another DITA-OT method. My douments periodically include published changes (CHG1, CHG2 ...). I have generated the change bars for the desired elements that appear on the page as well as their citing in a auto generated TOC, LOT and LOF. When the changes appear on the page I have also been able to automatically update the document master page headers on pages that include the paragraphs with change bars using the Reference Page. All using present FrameMaker features (FrameMaker 2022, v17.0.4)

Can anyone share how to also automatically change the TOC, LOF and LOT master pages depending on a changed title element? Without a custom script.

Thanks,

Bruce Sanchez

Hi Bruce, Did you check the Master Page mapping on the Reference pages?

Yes, Structured and Unstructured. I'll double check.

Screen shots attached. I added a P: to the Structured Reference Page table and there was no change. I'd like the CHG1 master page applied. It would be the 04/27/2021 date.

Because generated files aren't structured, you need to modify the Unstructured table on the reference page. Did you try that one? You don't need the P: prefix for that table.

Weird, it doesn't seem to be working on the LOF template.
