Hi Jack,

It is not clear from your post what you want content you want to include in the footer. FrameMaker has Running Header/Footer variables that allow you to put variable content in headers and footers. If you can give more details on what you want to do, someone should be able to help you.

In second page,I set the footer of content:2009-1-1 EEF 2009-5-5.

Here is one way to do it:

1) Choose View > Master Pages and click in the footer.

2) Choose Special > Variables and insert a Running H/F 3 variable in the footer.

3) Choose View > Body Pages.

4) On each page where you want the footer information to change, insert a Header/Footer $1 marker with the appropriate text.

This allows you to control master page variables with markers on the body pages. If you want to avoid inserting markers by hand, you may be able to use FrameScript to automate the insertion of the markers.

Thank you ,Rick!
In my template,I set the varible of Ruuning H/F 3 in footer no master page,But In body pages,I can't change the varible information.I think,In body pages, the user can't edit the varible information that the user set in master page. Is it right?

If your Running H/F 3 variable has the value of <$marker1>, then you add Header/Footer $1 markers to the body pages of the documents. The content of these markers will appear in the footers.
