Can't get a high quality PDF file using Adobe Distiller.
I use Adobe FrameMaker8.0 and Adobe Acrobat 8.0.(WinXP)
I can't get a high quality PDF file which contains images.
Types are Ok, but Images are not Ok.
Images are not clear, looks like they're broken.
I checked original files, but they have no problems at all.(Colors and sizes are set properly.)
Filesize is much smaller than one made at another computer.(about 1/10 size.)
One of my collegue has the same problem.
I tried..
* reinstall FrameMaker8.0
* Reinstall Adobe Acrobat professional 8.0
* Set PDF printer as a default printer.
* Use different setting(ex.highqualityprint, press, standard etc.)
* Same file on another computer, it works!!
* I can get a high quality PDF file from Adobe Indesign, or MS Word.
What should I do for this problem?
My work is being delayed by this issue.

Well, first, I wouldn't have reinstalled anything, but since you have, I suspect that you may have two sets of job options on your system because it works on a different system.
This is what I'd do first:
* If you're running XP (you didn't provide much system / environment information -- makes it harder to trouble shoot), apply the MS HotFix for PS printers http://www.hasbro.com/scrabble/en_US/search.cfm
* Check your patch levels to make sure that both FM and Acrobat are fully patched. Especially important because you reinstalled.
* Ensure that you're printing to the Adobe PDF printer instance and now using SaveAs. Set the job options from the Frame dialog box...

First you say you can't get a file that contains images, then you say the
images are not clear and are broken. These are contradictory. Please
elaborate.
Also, what format are the images? EPS? GIF? etc.?

How are you creating the PDF - SaveAsPDF or printing to file and distilling?
What was the joboptions setting specified for the PDF creation that created the very small file size?
