Can't save FM 16 files to FM 15

I inherited a number of files created in FM 16 (2020). I'm trying to save them as FM15 files, but when I open them and click on the File menu all of the Save options (and most of the other options) are disabled. Has anyone found a solution to this problem?

Also, can anyone tell me why the support chat doesn't work for FM? Core support for 15 is supposed to be available until 2024 and for 16 until 2025, but when I try to open a chat I get a message that online and chat support are not available.

TIA for any suggestions.

OK, I figured it out. The files I was trying to save are in a book. If I open the book file first and open the individual files from there, I can save them to other formats. Hope this helps someone else.
