I keep getting the "Internal Error" with the same file in both FM9 and FM12: 12004, 14782452, 15332691, 15227491.
It always tells me there is data to be sent to Adobe located at C:\Users\Stalley\AppData ... , but there is no such folder anywhere on my hard drive.
It happens when I try to save a particular file or All files in book.
Just tried it again and got 9004, 5229184, 5282600, 5283068
I am in desperate need of help with this.

It’s a hidden folder – change your options to see them

I changed the view so I could see all Hidden folders. It still is not there.

How far down the path to C:\Users\Salley\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\FrameMaker\9 [or 12] can you see folders?
You can also use the system search to look for any "FrameLog*.txt" files.

C:\Users\stalley Beyond that, nothing that applies.
The Internal Error message says to look in
C:\Users\stalley\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\FrameMaker\12\FrameLog_14.01.27_09.40.53.txt
No AppData folder. I've searched for Roaming and FrameLog on the whole HD, but nothing.

In the C:\Users\Stalley folder, open a command window and enter:
cd \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\FrameMaker\12
dir *.txt
Did you see a listing of any FrameLog_... files? If so, then the folders are still hidden. If the folder doesn't exist, then something is very odd about your installation.

I found it. It seems that Windows only lists hidden folders in the right panel, not below the parent in the left panel. I didn't know this happened, so it's all better now, and I have sent the error.
thanks.

Should be – maybe your IT has you locked down. It will appear as c:\users\user_name\AppData\
