Can you add markers so links in search engine results go to a specific page within a PDF?

When you do an internet search for something (Google, etc.), the links in the search results open to the first page of the PDF file. Is there anything that can be added to the FrameMaker file that will allow the links in the search results to open to a specific page in a PDF?

I think, Yes, but I can’t recall if you need a third-party tool like TimeSavers or just fiddling with the bookmarks in the PDF job options screen when creating the PDF

Hi Error7103,

It looks like deep links allow you to include a URL link in a document or web page that goes to a specific page in a PDF.

What I am looking for is a way to make internet search results go to a specific page in a PDF.

For example, the XX Software User Guide has a section entitled "Exporting Summary Files." It is on page 12 of the PDF.

If someone uses Google to search for "how do I export summary files in XX software," the search results include a link to the PDF, but the PDF opens to the first page of the file, not to page 12.

Is there a way to make a PDF open to a specific page in this case?

That sounds like the bookmarks that Timesavers can place in your PDFs
