For Windows 10 Vivek Kumar from Adobe reports (in the FM-13 beta test forum, which is still active):
One known issue is that installer conflicts with Symbol.ttf font in the Windows fonts directory.
If you create a backup of that file and remove from windows fonts directory then installer will work fine, FM will install its own copy.
You have not specified Your Windows - but I'm assuming W7. Nevertheless you may try to follow Viveks advice.

Thanks, it is indeed Windows 10, sorry forgot to mention it. I had it first in virtualbox, there it installed without a problem, but on my freshly installed laptop, I got this error. I finally could fix it by installing Win8.1, install FM and then make an upgrade to Win10, keeping files and programs. This worked...
I'll try you solution when I reinstall my other laptop.
Thanks

I have the same Issue with Windows 10 and Framemaker.
I have no Upgrade, i have a fresh clean install from Windows 10.
When i delete the euclid.ttf the Error is stil allive.
It does not matter, euclid.ttf can not access or install by Adobe installer. But manualy i can copy the euclid.ttf in the Fonts Folder.
I have disbaled the UAC and i have Admin rights, the Access is ok.

I am having the exact same issue. I am hoping a fix is found for this soon.
FYI - Frame 2015 worked just fine if it was installed previously and you do the upgrade. Installing clean in windows 10 does cause this issue though.

I found a solution for me.
The Installer give me errors with Symbol.ttf and euclid.ttf.
The Symbol.ttf can Not delete because the rights are only trusted installer. I change the rights on the ttf File for Administrator Account and delete the Symbol.ttf.
The euclid.ttf i delete with another PC. I change the Harddisk to my another pc and can delete with the System from another PC the euclid.ttf.
After this the Symbol.ttf and euclid.ttf are deletet and the Framemaker install are without Errors.

Glad to observe that problems seems to have been resolved: but from a safe distance – that is, nowhere near FM 2015 – I'm still left wondering why installing a program should fail because fonts were already present on the target machine. Or was it more a permissions issue? Background info welcome, in the hope that one of these months I'll actually have an upgrade to deal with.

Hey Everyone,
I managed to install Frame 2015 finally, but it did take some overrides of the fonts folder found in windows/fonts. I used the following steps:
UAC needs to be disabled (Control Panel > User Accounts > Change User Account Control Settings, select “Never Notify”)
Now we need to give the user access to the font directory and registry key
For the Directory:
1. Open the command prompt WITH ADMINISTRATOR PRIVILEGES (right click cmd, “run as administrator”)
2. Type “attrib –r –s c:\windows\fonts” (obviously minus the quotes), hit Enter
3. Right click on the fonts folder and choose properties
4. Click the Security tab
5. Click Advanced
6. Click the Owner tab
7. Click the Edit button
8. Change the Current Owner to yourself
9. Check the “Replace owner on subcontainers and objects” box
10. Click OK
As a pop-up box will tell you, you must close the window completely for the changes to take in effect
Also, for the 1st step, you can just search for CMD, and when you see it in the results, right click on it so you can run it as admin, then go from there.
Hope this helps
