Hello all,
I am pretty new to FrameMaker and I am playing around with making custom bullets with FontAwesome. The only issue I am having is that the bullet isn't positioned exactly how I want it to be.
How can I change the vertical position of the bullet to be centered with the first line in the paragraph?
Thanks in advance!

I don't think you can when you're just using paragraph or character tags.
For something like what you're showing, I use a two column table with no borders. The tag for the first column would be set to have a Cell Vertical Alignment of Middle on the Table tab of the Paragraph Designer for that paragraph tag.
If this is something you expect to use a lot, you can add it to your predefined table styles.

You can manually edit a MIF version of the character tag to adjust the vertical position of the tag (in this case, an icon)
I’m traveling today but you can also get a write up of how to do this in my book, FrameMaker - Working with Content

Oh, COOL. Just read up on this (yes, I have your book).

fwiw, I achieve something similar with a side-head paragraph and top alignment – FM is powerful enough often to offer more than one way of achieving what we're after ;-}

In addition to via side head, borderless table or MIF mucking, this might also be done as an anchored frame, at insertion point, with the icon either as a graphic, or in a text frame inside the anchored frame. Pull down the bottom of the AF as needed to keep the text to the right of it.
Which to use may depend on the workflow target, such as just PDF, just HTML, both, or now for something, completely different. Some of the choices may not flow elegantly to HTML. Web font might be needed too.
