Character Designer?

Hey, I'm 100% new to FM so excuse the basic nature of this question. I'm working through a tutorial that's asking me to open up the Character Designer...  but I can't figure out how to open it. I've looked in the help option, and there is a section on how to use the Character Designer but it doesn't say anything about opening and closing it. The tutorial says to open Windows-Panels-Character Designer, but that option does not come up in the program I'm using (It's a trial version of FM 10) - see graphic.Any ideas how I can open up this panel would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Try Format > Characters >  Designer or Ctrl-D
