Connect FrameMaker to Sharepoint

New Here ,

I want to connect unstructured FrameMaker with Sharepoint. In Choose Connection, I select Sharepoint. Name is SP. As Server I have tried all possible options. There may be something wrong with the address but I can't figure out what it may be. As we have not yet implemented Sharepoint to the entire company, we - as key users - are playing a bit in a sandbox. The link looks like https://elster365.sharepoint.com/sites/electricity/sandbox/SitePages/Home.aspx. I have tried https://elster365.sharepoint.com/sites/electricity/sandbox/SitePages/Home.aspx and https://elster365.sharepoint.com/sites/electricity/sandbox/SitePages and https://elster365.sharepoint.com/sites/electricity/sandbox and https://elster365.sharepoint.com/sites/electricity and https://elster365.sharepoint.com/sites and https://elster365.sharepoint.com. In user name and password I have entered my credentials that are otherwise working fine. In some cases, it says that the location was not found. That could still make sense to me. However, in other case, there is just nothing happening except for the password being cleared. In any case, the connection is not added. In the example for server, it says http://server:port). Is there some kind of port that needs to be added?

I'll watch this thread with interest! the first time I tried using FM and SharePoint was back in the days when the two products turned out to have different opinions of what WebDav meant, so they wouldn't play together at all. While we are now trying to make more use of SharePoint as a repository for, well, shared documents, I have not yet got as far as trying it for source files.

I'll take a look today and let you know if I discover anything helpful.

We are using Sharepoint 365, I am now starting to fear that Sharepoint 365 is not supported by Adobe FrameMaker for the Sharepoint integration. Still, no confirmation yet.

SharePoint 365 is not certified and tested with Adobe FrameMaker 12 as of now. There is an update released for FrameMaker 12 in which there are some CMS connecter enhancements like  Adobe FrameMaker 12 now supports SharePoint 2013. Also, Claim-based authentication for SharePoint is now supported.
