I'm sure there's a simple fix for this.  I just need a little help finding it.  I have a numbered list, with a sub-list. When the original list continues, the numbering doesn't.

Jeff, I found the answer in a reply by Lynne Price to a similar question.  It seems that I need to use <a=5> to set my list entry to "e".

Does that sound right?

Give it a try - there's a few ways to approach this.

Jeff,

If you don't mind.  I am not very experienced with the intricacies of fm. Here's my list:

1. LRU will not turn on

          a. Set front panel ON/OFF switch to ON.

If LRU does not turn ON, set front panel ON/OFF switch to OFF.

          b. Verify rack breaker has AC power.

Check other chassis’ in rack for AC power.

          c. Verify/replace fuse at chassis rear panel.

          d. Verify AC power at chassis input.

                    i. If AC power is present, replace LRU.

ii. If AC power is not present, replace external AC power cable.

          e. Set front panel ON/OFF switch to ON.

The "e." step would not auto-number. Is there a way to make it continue automatically?

Thanks, Jeff.  The info in the link worked perfectly, and the columns concept makes sense.
