What version of FM are you running? There's a few ways you could go about it -

  • save as RTF; open in Word
  • save as/print to PDF; open in Acrobat & save as Word
  • copy & paste

I am using FrameMaker 2017. I have already convert it to Word file but unable to import variables from FrameMaker (source) to use in Word as my template. Please guide how to use the variables (e.g book title, date, masterpages, etc.) and exported from FrameMaker to Word

FrameMaker does not convert it's variables to anything similar in Word. I just tested this with FrameMaker 2020, and I am sure that FM 2017 was not better.
