Convert multiple frame files to XML

New Here ,
Jul 29, 2008 Jul 29, 2008
How can I convert several frame files into XML files? I have about 1000 Frame files that I need to convert to XML and doing it one at a time is time consuming. Is there any batch command or script to convert several Frame files into XML?

Thanks.

Put as many FM files as you like into a book and run them through MIF2Go, from omsys.com.

Shilpa,

If you can put all the FM files into one directory, you can use the StructureTools > Utilities > Convert Documents to Structured Format command in FM 8 or File > Utilities > Convert Documents to Structured Format in FM 7.x to save them all as XML. ("Structured Format" means "XML or SGML").

Shilpa,

To add on to the other comments, your question is really too vague for someone to provide a definitive answer. There are lots of paths to XML, each with many different considerations involved, mostly based on what you have now and what kind of XML you are trying to get. And furthermore, what you are trying to do with it afterwards. Perhaps if you clarify your intent, we can help you a little more.
