Converting PageMaker 7 w. FM 9?

Anyone tried this lately?
I haven't had to try it for several FM releases and don't know how  strong the current filters are.
Source is PM 7.

The biggest gotcha is if there is any text in PM's "table" format, they are really, really difficult to convert.

I've done just cut-n-paste through the Windows clipboard and also exported from PM as text, or even exported RTF or text from a PDF.  On one project I did PM to InDesign and then into FM, I don't recall the specific issues but that seemed to get to a more reasonable starting point in FM.

FM's import filter works sometimes but it really depends on the source as to whether it's going to import cleanly enough to use in FM or whether it's simply easier to start with plain text and re-tag once in FM.
