create a List of Figures with chapter names ?

I want to create a list of figures for a book, but I would like to separate the list showing which chapters the figures belong to. Like:

Chapter 1

   figure 1.1

   figure 1.2

   figure 1.3

Chapter 2

   figure 2.1

   figure 2.2

   etc

While I can make the List of figures work to my liking, I have trouble figuring out a smart way to add the chapter titles?

Can anybody help?
