You should be able to download an old version from within the Adobe Licensing site (https://account.adobe.com/products) if it was registered (which it probably was if it's a corporate one).

Hi,
Old versions cannot be downloaded from the Adobe website. Only updates.
Just some days ago there were some posts about this question.
The newest posts recommended to buy your version on ebay.
Best regards
Winfried

You would have to log in with the Adobe ID that was used when purchased & registered.

If you still don't get anywhere, contact the FM folks directly - see https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/enterprise-support.other.html#framemaker for your Adobe Support options. I'd recommend using the tcssup@adobe.com e-mail address as it reaches a team dedicated to Technical Communication Suite products including FrameMaker.

Your company should invest in decent authoring tools. FM 10 is ancient (almost 12 years) and a LOT has happened since then. Don't play along with your management's underestimation of your value as technical authors.

This is the right answer TBH! I work as a service provider and designer and encounter FrameMaker files in a lot of different, older, versions. And - to put it plainly - it is not worth the hassle working with older versions. Especially not versions as old as ver. 10. Publishing is not just about FrameMaker. It is also about the environment surrounding FrameMaker. Windows versions, drivers, other software etc.

What OS are you forced to use with Fm 10??

I wouldn't think you are forced to use any particular version of Windows, but Windows and Windows components do change. Take for instance the matter with Windows Explorer where Microsoft is stuffing Edge into everything and Adobe packs and packed FrameMaker with Windows Explorer 11 (I believe it is) as the default browser.
