Embed online-Videos: Which formats are supported? How to embed Vimeo links?

Hi! Somehow I had thought Framemaker supports not only youtube videos (which works very well) but also Vimeo videos. I am working on unstructured FM 2022.
I can't insert the Vimeo link as an online video under 'Multimedia'. The error message is: Online video client not found or supported.
Does anyone know a work around? Are there any other supported online video formats?
I am publishing from FM as an HTML5 project.

Haven't tried a Vimeo link, but the YouTube ones I put in are just hypertext links like:
message URL https://youtu.be/path" target="_blank

Yeah, sure, that's what I said. Youtube works fine.

But if you want to have a vimeo chanel with video content ...  😮

Now I did some more research: Robohelp supports youtube and Vimeo (as shown). This is going in a good direction. Maybe there is already a request where I can join?

A request were you can join? Not sure what you're talking about there - you can import FM content into RH; you can author directly in RH. Are you talking about logging an enhancement request for FM to support Vimeo? That's done via the Tracker (https://tracker.adobe.com/).

Hi @A-Bel:

Here is the list of supported formats:

https://help.adobe.com/en_US/framemaker/using/using-framemaker/user-guide/frm_text_tx-importing-and-...

~Barb

EDIT: On second thought, that list isn't helpful, is it? You are asking about links. So shouldn't Jeff's sample syntax work, just pointing to the vimeo site?

yes, I have seen the same list in the FM manual. And I thought I could just add a Vimeo link instead of the Youtube link (because the function is commonly called 'Online video'). But unfortunately without success.
