Error: maker: warning: couldn't find/load autorec.dll!

Started getting this error message today, opened file OK this morning but this afternoon went to work on file again and got this error in the FrameMakr Console 2x. Tried to research the cause but found nothing when googled. searched forums and nothing.

Frame seems to work OK, but concerned because of it being a problem with a dll.

Jim,

This autorec.dll is part of the Inso filters package (it does the auto-recognition for most of the older word-procesing formats). You didn't mention which version of FM, but with v.8 and higher, moist of these older filters are commented out, so unless you're importing some legacy Wordstar, Word 6, Wordperfect, Volkswriter, Multimate, etc. files, I wouldn't be too concerned. It won't afect current FM operation unless you try to import.

It probably got corrupted somehow, so if you have a back-up, you should restore that file to the \filters folder.

I have not had this error message since, my assumption is computer error, or a load error.
