FM 10: xrefs broken in book file; conrefs disappear

I'm using TCS3, FM10 on Windows XP.

Our xrefs and conrefs works fine in the .xml source files, but the xrefs do not work in the book file and the conrefs are just empty tags.

Don't understand why they're not working.  When we did a trial download of FM9 (we were using FM8), they worked perfectly. What changed?

Are you using DITA 1.1 or DITA 1.2?

I'm not seeing this when I create a book in FM10 (using DITA 1.1). The FM10 book build process is a bit different from that in FM9 (and definitely FM8). Instead of creating aggregated chapter files (as it did in FM9) you get nested FM files. I'd swear there was a way to get this to work the way it did in FM9, but I've not found it yet.

However .. that shouldn't affect the problem you're seeing.

What process are you using to create a book from a map? Are you using a custom structure app? If so, I'd try using the default apps to see if it works there.
