FM 2015 crashes when accessing Preferences

Why is FM crashing when I try to access the Preferences?

I am trying to change the Spelling features and cannot access them.

If I open the Spelling pod > Options, FM also crashes.

I get the following message:

First make sure that you are all updated on the latest patch version. Next, if it's still happening, exit out and try renaming your c:\users\user_name\AppData\Roaming\FrameMaker\version\ - FM should recreate it when you start it up again.

Hi Jeff,

I did both, installed the latest update and renamed the file.

This only worked the first time after restarting FM.

Unfortunately FM still crashes as before, even if I rename the file.
