FM9: CropBox of imported PDFs are not recognized by "Save as PDF ..."

New Here ,

FYI

There is a dangerous BUG again in this highly demanded CMYK-Output "Save as PDF ...".

An imported cropped PDF is displayed by FM9 as it is displayed in Acrobat.

But producing output by "Save as PDF ..." generates a PDF which shows the imported PDF as no more cropped.

Using this FWIW-flag "CMYK to RGB" in the dialog "Save as PDF ..." generates a correct PDF.

Norbert,

Can you please confirm if this in the 9.0.2 patched release (aka FM9.0p237). Also, have you filed a bug report?  https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform

Norbert,

Thanks for posting this heads up. I've avoided using cropped PDFs in my workflow because of a similar issue with some imposition software that did more or less the same thing, ignored the crop and rendered the entire media box.

If you have PitStopPro for Acrobat, you can get that to rest the media box to the crop box (which is what I do) and then things should render ok in FM (for now). Makes one wonder how much testing Adobe does on a new feature with so many issues popping up for this CMYK PDF option...
