Font color with conref

New Here ,
Oct 29, 2008 Oct 29, 2008
Hello,

I've placed a conref into document B that references an element in document A. The conref in document B is displayed in a blue font. If I create a PDF or use the "Build FM DITABook from DITA Map file", the font is still blue. How can I change the font color in the source XML file to be the default color (black)? Thanks!

Kind Regards,
Michael Aimino

Hi Michael...

In FM8 DITA, the conref formatting is controlled by the DITA-Conref condition. If you want to change the default color for files generated via the map to book process, just edit the Book application's template and change the color of the DITA-Conref condition to black.

This template is (typically) located at:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\FrameMaker8\Structure\xml\DITA\app\DITA-Book-FM\book.template.fm

Good luck!
