Any one seen this,

Keep smiling

Hi Thomas,

Long time no see...

Though FM7.2 is not officially supported, I believe that you have to be in compatibility mode for it to behave properly with Windows 7.

Hi Arnis.

Right you are. Long time no see... I did however spend the past years with FrameMaker so I'm not quite lost :-). Actually more or less round the clock.

And you have tought me something new. Love it. Thanks.

I am new to Windows 7 (6 hours in) and my first problem is that my fully charged BRAND NEW 11 hour battery drains in an hour and Windows 7 claims it needs to be replaced by a new battery. Ooops that was something entirely different.

Keep smiling

Thomas

FWIW, Frame 7.2 installed fine on 64-bit Windows 7 Professional.

There's also a free "XP" add-on that runs apps in a virtual mode with Win7. See:

There's also another freebie virtual-machine that will allow you to run most older apps available at:

No; I suspect your permissions or compatibility settings are wonky. In the past, it's gone on just fine.

Right click the installer and try Run as Administrator.

If that doesn't work, right click the installer again, and select Run Compitbility Wizard, or Troubleshoot Compatibility and try that.
