Anyone else having problems with Frame 9? For me this has been the buggiest version ever!
It crashes on me doing ridiculously simple things. Crashes on an Undo, crashes on changing a paragraph format to another, things like that. Yes I have reinstalled, yes I have made a new .ini file.
Any thoughts? I love Frame, but this is quickly becoming a love/hate relationship with this version.

I know one fellow who had to actually take his video driver down a version from the latest.

I've seen it crash upon exit (nearly 100% of the time I quit FM) since I upgraded to 4Gb RAM on my MacBook Pro, running XP
Obviously I have a few variables there, including being beyond the 3Gb limit of XP, so I can't say if it's actually FM causing the crash.

My combination of MacBook Pro with 4GB, Parallels, and Windows XP has been very stable other than a crash that I can force after doing a Unify command (I posted this earlier today). I have XP set to 768MB and my Mac's battery set to "longer battery life". The Mac boots in 32-bit mode.

What specific version are you using (help > about, the "pxxx" numbers) and on what O/S and
service pack level?
Are you saving locally or to a network drive?
do you have enough temp space?

Hi hattg,
Please make sure you are using version 9.0p250 (aka 9.0.3).
Another issue I have experienced is a certain instability with generated documents (TOC, IX) and maybe even books that were upgraded from older versions (including version 8). What solved such problems was to create the TOC etc. from scratch after deleting them from the book and on disk.
If that does not help, we would need to knwo a little bit more about your environment and documentation process.
