Hello All
I have created the entire document with proper procedure and elements in Framemaker 10 - S1000D - Crew Module , but now i need to show the output in IETP or IETM Viewer.
I want to know how to convert the FM files to XML and whether these XML can be viewed in IETP,
If so, can you guide me on the procedurer and which IETP tool will support.
Please provide me you feed back
Regards
Suresh.

Hi Suresh,
When you save the data modules in FrameMaker you are saving XML. Each data module will be a fully compliant XML instance which is validated against the S1000D Crew schema at issue 4.0.1.
If you have the Technical communication suite it is possible to export a very simple IETP. However if you are a sub-contractor to a larger project you may perhaps only need to supply the data modules and graphics. These would then be incorporated into the overall project IETP.
To publish an IETP you need to build a publication module that references all of the required data modules. The instructions for this are included in the on-line help.
Best regards
Ian

Thank you Lan, I am clear about the concept.
My Publishing team are struggling on FM-XML files, as we are new to Framemaker.
The Publishing team has a confusion on which Tool the FM-XML fils can be viewed from CSDB, i mean the Viewer, we are currently using IETM L3 but this supports only HTML, were in Level 4 will support XML, but we are looking better than IETM any other Viewer will support us to View the Publication Module.
Refer us any tool which is Flexible for FM-XML, the reason the Publication Team is Suggesting us to go for Arbortext, but 50% of datas are created in FM.

Hi Suresh,
Most, if not all IETMs convert the S1000D XML to HTML for viewing. There may be a publisher or builder application which generates the content for a given IETM/IETP.
I can assure you that the XML created from FrameMaker will be no different to the output from Arbortext. So no need to change.
Discussing specific IETP tools is probably off topic for FrameMaker forums so I will send a private message on that topic.
Regards
Ian
