When I or one of my colleagues attempted to run the updater for FrameMaker 2015 Update 2, the installer stopped and displayed the following message: "There was an error installing this update. Please quit and try again later. Error Code: U44M1I210"
The problem seems to be related to permissions. An Adobe support record (Error U44M1I210 when installing Adobe Creative Cloud or Creative Suite 6 updates) suggests creating a new user with administrator permissions. Although I and the colleague who experienced this problem were already logged in as administrators, in my colleague's case, someone from IT created a new user with (the same) administrator permissions, which solved the problem.
Another record (Error U44M1I216 when updating applications) suggested deleting the following folder:
[DriveLetter]:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\Local\Adobe\AAMUpdater\1.0
I did this and was then able to successfully run the updater. This seems like a preferable solution, because it doesn't require having IT create a new account.
NOTE: The AppData folder is hidden unless you show hidden files and folders.See Show hidden files - Windows Help.
I should note that I'm part of a team of 20+ people using FrameMaker, and most of us have not experienced this problem. I was able to run the updater on another computer with no problem.
