FrameMaker 2015 won't print to PDF

Frame in TCS 2015 has recently stopped printing to PDF on my home machine.  I've just reinstalled Acrobat DC Pro (from my work Creative Cloud account) to no avail.  And it has continued to work with Word and InDesign without issue.  Using Windows 10 on 64-bit.

I've made no known changes recently, and don't have this issue on my install in the office.

I've searched the forum and the answer from about 2012 mentions file paths to Acrobat 10.0 that don't exist any more.

I suffered the same or similar issue a few years ago - perhaps with TCS v5 - when I had to print to a .ps file and then convert it.  But I can't do this either now.

When I try File > Print, rather than Save as PDF I get an error message that says:

'Cannot print because the selected default printer [ which is Adobe PDF ] is not compatible with FrameMaker. (Cannot query escape 768.)'

Any thoughts?

Many thanks,

Ant

Sounds like you've probably fallen victim to Microsoft's Win10 1803 bug - see Re: Frame 2017 cannot print to PDF or PS or Printer as of April 6, 2018 for all the details. Easiest way to fix it is roll back to 1709.
