I need to proofread FrameMaker files for a book translation. I have version 7.2 and I want to install it on my Mac Book Pro (M1). First I downloaded Parallels Desktop and tried to install FrameMaker. At the last stage the warning "Your registration number is no longer valid" appears and the installation does not finish. How can I solve this issue?
Thank you very much.

If this is a one-time requirement, download the latest trial version of FM and use it to open the files. The current FM can open the files of any prior FM.
What version are the FM files to be read?
If they are FM8.0 or later, FM7.2 will not be able to read them, unless provided to you in .mif form; and MIF, or even Heroic Open, is apt to not work, because …
If the document files are FM8.0 or later, they may contain Unicode in the document text, which FM 7.2 and earlier cannot render at all.
So the installation/license problems might be moot, even if you can set Parallels to 32-bit Windows XP emulation.
