Framemaker 9 - graphic

I inserted a graphic and three quarters of the graphic is black. 

What happened? I used an anchor frame and it is a gif.  My other graphics do not have this problem.

Norma,

First check the graphic in another software. It might well be that the generating application kind of choked at this graphic.

Next step: Export the graphic again from the source (which software was used?)

Last resort: Try it as a PNG graphic.

I checked the graphic in word - it is fine.

I was thinking of saving it as a png - i am going to try that
