Hi Everyone,
Hoping someone has seen this and knows how to fix.
My book has (up until recently) always generated hyperlinked miniTOCs when saved as PDF. (Same result when Print to PDF.)
Just noticed MiniTOC has stopped creating links in PDF, but all other hyperlinks still work. (Same result when Print to PDF.) See attached.
I need to release this book soon, and this is out of my league for troubleshooting Frame to PDF.
Thank you very much.
fred
SOLVED: Thought I should post this, in case someone else ever makes the same mistake.
MiniTOC now generates hyperlinks in PDF again.
I removed the little note "Table of Contents Specification" from the top of the MTOC refernence page.
Advice to self: Amateurs such as myself should not add notes to reference pages.
With just the below content, miniTOC generates hyperlinked PDF miniTOC as desired.
gotoObjectId :<$ObjectType> <$ObjectId>
<$paranum> <$paratext> <$pagenum>
<$paranum> <$paratext> <$chapnum

Hi,
Information which is needed to discuss your issue:
Which FrameMaker version do you use? Are all updates installed (Help | About)?
How do you create the PDF? Save as PDF? Print to a PostScript file (with Generate Acrobat Data activated)?
Does this work in other files/books?
Does this work in a completely new file/book?
Best regards
Winfried

Reply to Winfried,
Frame Version: 2019.
Tried all methods of PDF generation.
MiniTOC PDF hyperlinks worked in NEW document, using Frame default template.
MiniTOC PDF hyperlinks still broken in NEW Doc with all fromats imported from broken Frame doc.
Does this provide clues?
Thank you.
MiniTOC Reference from broken Frame doc:
Table of Contents Specification
gotoObjectId :<$ObjectType> <$ObjectId>
<$paranum> <$paratext> <$pagenum>
<$paranum> <$paratext> <$chapnum>-<$pagenum>
<$paranum> <$paratext> <$chapnum>-<$pagenum>

Possibly your heading had a paragraph format which FrameMaker uses for the setup of the miniTOC, and FM got distracted.
Anyway, good that this works now.
