Hello,
when generating HTML5 in the current version 16.05.1096, the generated TOC navigation bar no longer works. The faulty link does not lead to the .htm or the scripted ID, but to the programme folder:
file:///C:/c:/program%20files/adobe/adobe%20framemaker%2020/filters?rhtocid=_4#998464bc-3
How can this be fixed?
I think the problem is in my scripted files and it's not a FrameMaker or publishing problem.

Good idea. The sample book works perfectly. All TOC entries are linked correctly.

Ok, so you can quit looking at the Publish pod. FrameMaker appears to be working properly.
FrameMaker is unhappy with your files, content in the files, their filenames/directories, or their location.
My money is on either the book file or the TOC file.
Offhand, I'd try creating a new book file, add a chapter or two, and recreate the TOC from scratch. Do not reuse anything but the chapter file(s).
If that works, build from there. If not, simplify until you get something that works.
I'll be delivering a RoboHelp webinar in about an hour, so I'll check back in after that.

Okay, thank you very much for your help!
The book will be created in 2 steps. In the first step, metadata is evaluated using a script and a suitable, limited FrameMaker book is created from this. HTML5 will then be published in this second, scripted book. I will continue my research over the next few days, but I have to get on with something else first.

Not quite fair that we're finding out about book creation by script in the 57th message in this thread.
Ya think that might be part of your problem?

After copying the samples to my writeable drive, and adding a sibling folder for output, I used default publishing settings.
Below is the HTML for the History of flight TOC entry. Do you get the same?

Use Inspect for the HTML code itself, not just what is parsed in the browser

Looks like you may be hitting a character limit with that pathname

The shortened path/name "C:\h5\h5_int\Responsive HTML5\h5_int\h5_int_howto\h5_int_howto.htm" also returns the same error.
