Hello- I'm trying (for the first time) to create an 11x17 document. The document has a header and footer along with a graphic that fills the rest of the space in between. Both the header and footer print fine - either directly from FM or to PDF. But the top and bottom parts of the graphic get cut off. I have searched forums to figure out why, haven't found anything besides changing the DPI settings in the pdf printer preferences, which I've done. The "cropped" box is not checked in the anchored frame (another solution given to others). It must be something obvious. Help!
Using FM8 on Windows 7.
TIA!!

What specific version of FM8, as shown on the Help > About menu, including the "pxxx" numbers.
Other background info needed:
What kind of a graphic file is it. How is the graphic inserted onto the page, is it on the master page? Body page? Is it a referenced file or is it copied into the FM file?

Thank you for your message - hopefully this information will help!!
FM8 p277
The file is a .wmf. It is imported/referenced on the body page.
Let me know if there is more information I can provide!

hmmm. WMFs can sometimes be tricky, it often depends on how the originating application created it. What app does it come from?
If possible, can you go back to the originating application and create a different file type? png or jpg, for example? or a PDF?
Was the image resized or is it at 100%?
As a test, I would try creating a new FM 11x17 file, then import the graphic image again, without any other content (headers, footers etc) and see if the graphic prints / PDFs correctly.

The wmf originates from AutoCAD. I am waiting on my coworker to send me a different file type so have not tried anything else yet!
We do have to double the image size to 200% because it contains actual dimensions that the end user will need/use. (It is a template that the customer will cut out and use on their product) The wmf imports into FM half the size we need it. We found if we blow it up to 200%, the dimensions come out perfectly. And it still prints great too. We've done this in the past with no issues but those templates have all fit on an 8.5x11 document. It does sound pretty hokey though. We are new at FM so if there is a better way I am all ears!
I tried the test you suggested below and it does the same thing.
After my coworker exports me a new file, I will do another test and let you know.
Thank you for your suggestions and questions so far!
**UPDATE** We tried several different file formats exported from AutoCAD and the only one that worked was PDF. Problem solved, thank you!
