How do I create a PDF using Adobe Fonts?

Perhaps I'm being daft, but I can't find a solution to this.

I'm using FrameMaker and an active Adobe Font (Freight Text Pro). I can't seem to find a way to save it/print my doc as a PDF without having my font replaced automatically.

I've rebooted my computer. I've restarted both FrameMaker and Acrobat/Distiller. The font is active, but it doesn't show up in the list of fonts in the Distiller settings.

What am I doing wrong?

Thank you. I appreciate any help you can give me.

What exact path are you using for PDF?

In File » Print Setup: Adobe PDF, for example
[_] Rely on system font only; do not use document fonts
may be enabled by default.
