How do I get my multi-page table to start anywhere on the page?

I am using FM 11. I have a 2 page table and it is starting on a new page even when the previous page has more than 3/4 of the page blank. Thanks.

Check the Row formats (buried a few levels down in the Tables menu options) to see if there is a Keep with Next setting enabled for the rows.

Also, FM will not split a "row" as Word can.

My basic tab in the Table Designer says Start: Anywhere.

Also check the:

Format > Paragraph Designer >
Properties: Pagination

Keep With: Next/Previous

and

Properties: Basic:
Space: Above/Below

for the anchoring paragraph, the para above it, and the para below it.

These are not likely your problem, but can affect where a table starts.
