Windows 11 Pro operating system

Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.7 GB usable)

System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

FrameMaker 2017 14.0.4.511 and FrameMaker 2015 13.0.5.547

Help, please.

¿How to I "deactivate" a computer that no longer exists?

When I run both versions (at different times on my brand-new workstation), the program complains, "The serial number ****************** is already in use by the maximum allowed computers. You need to deactivate another computer in 29 days to use this product.
__ Retry activation. I have already deactivated one of my other computers."

I had two instances of FrameMaker installed quite happily on only _one_ workstation. That was my former, lap-top, workstation, which crashed _hard_, and backup could not include anything from C:\.

¡Thanks!

Yeah, that's a problem - you need to talk to the FM folks to explain the problem & see if they can reset your count. See https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/enterprise-support.other.html#framemaker for your Adobe Support options. I'd recommend using the tcssup@adobe.com e-mail address as it reaches a team dedicated to Technical Communication Suite products including FrameMaker.

¡Thanks for this info:  It was spot-on! The e-mail response from tcssup@adobe.com directed me to:

https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/error-activation-limit-reached-sign.html; from there, directed to
